Before and After

Lately we've started getting into the habit of putting Katelynn in her highchair while we eat dinner at night. To keep her occupied we'll give her Cheerios or Gerber fruit or veggie puffs. Last night I had the bright idea to give her a "biter" biscuit. It's like a giant cookie for her to hold on to and teeth on and as you'll be able to see, it gets quite messy! I wish I could have gotten a picture of it, but she kept putting the biscuit in her mouth and took her hands away like she was smoking a big cigar. Then she looked straight at me and started laughing. She knows she's funny!

Her little personality is starting to show now. She will shake her head "no" when she doesn't want something or want to do something. She's also scooting and crawling her way all over the house now. This morning she discovered the Spaceman family DVDs and I am proud to say she chose "Pride and Prejudice" over "Star Wars" or any other space-related DVD. He he! Of course, I'd try to pull her away and have her play with her toys, but she was having none of that. Basically DVDs, cords & cables, and pretty much anything on the floor that doesn't look like a Katelynn toy is what Katelynn is really interested in.
